Ukraine International Airlines presents new low capacity long haul routes from Boryspil International Airport in the capital of Ukraine Kyiv to John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York. The flights will be performed on Boeing 737-900ER. The flights will start on 9.December, 2020, twice a week on Wednesdays and Sundays.
Because the route is longer than maximum range of the aircraft, the flights will be performed with technical stops in Keflavik, Iceland, keeping the same flights numbers. Therefore, flights PS321 will depart at 10:00 local time and will arrive in Keflavik at 13:15 local time (same as UTC). After one hour stop in Keflavik, the plane will continue to fly to the US to be in New York at 15:35 local time. The whole flight, therefore, will be around 13 hours. The flights back are scheduled at 22:10 from New York to be in Keflavik at 08:40 local time (same as UTC). After one hour the plane will fly to Kyiv and arrival will be at 16:30 local time.
In Keflavik there will be only a stop for refueling, without possibility to take onboard any cargo or passengers.
