Icelandic virtual airline Niceair will fly with Air Greenland’s passengers, who were supposed to depart for Denmark several days ago. Airbus A319 reg. 9H-XFW will fly empty from Akureyri (ICAO: BIAR) to Kangerlussuaq (ICAO: BGSF) and then will depart to Copenhagen (ICAO: EKCH). The flight will be performed on 15.July 2022, says the announcement of Air Greenland. “We do whatever we can for our friends”, Niceair CEO Thorvaldur Ludvik Sigurjonsson told Flugblogg.
On 14.June Niceair performed a charter flight for Icelandic low-cost airline Play from Gothenburg (ICAO: ESGG) to Keflavik (ICAO: BIKF). Play was experiencing difficulties to arrange all flights after one of their A320neo reg. TF-PPA landed in Keflavik with a faulty fuel indication.
