Keflavik experienced one third decrease of pax flow in January 2020 compare to the previous year

There were 375 723 passengers, who travelled through Keflavik airport in January 2020, Isavia stated in statistic report today. It is 29,8% less than in January 2019. Among them 159 248 passengers departed, 152 514 arrived and 63 961 were transit.

Compare these numbers to January 2019, where 182,344 departed, 171,539 arrived and 181,327 were transit. The total number was 535,210 passengers, and it was a 6% decrease compared to the previous year. January 2018 was the last year when pax flow was growing. That month 190 219 passengers departed, 177 050 arrived and 202 063 were transit, with the sum of 569 332 passengers and 15,3% increase to January 2017.
