Air Iceland Connect Bomradier Dash 8 diverted because of crack in the windshield

Bombardier Dash 8 Q400 reg. TF-FXI, performing Air Iceland Connect flight FXI328 from Reykjavik capital airport to Egilsstaðir in the morning 27 of June, has diverted to the airport of origin, Icelandic media reported.

According to Flightradar24 data, the plane has departed from the runway 01 at 08:57UTC and started to climb cruise level FL230 towards east. Approximately after 20 minutes after take-off pilots reported about a crack in the windshield and have decided to divert back to Reykjavik. The plane has landed on runway 01 at 09:35UTC. The passengers were transferred to another plane.
