Most impressive aviation photos of 2019

  • January 4, 2020
  • 1 minute read

2019 was rich for events in Icelandic aviation and full of interesting and unique guests. Grounding of Icelandair Boeing 737 MAX aircraft, the collapse of WOW air, D-Day squadron flight to 75 anniversary of landing in Normandy through Reykjavik, aviation events dedicated to 100th anniversary of Icelandic aviation, visits of high political staff in Iceland and more. Flugblogg followed it together with its readers, who contributed dozens of unique photos and videos from the action. Here we present the gallery of some of these photos, chosen by our editor. Some of these photos remind about historically important moments, others show a picturesque view of everyday Icelandic aviation routine. All of them were taken in 2019.
