Icelandair connects Pakistan and UK. But only for two days

Icelandair Boeing 767-300 reg. TF-ISO will perform two flights between Pakistan and UK, the airline’s press-officer Ásdís Ýr Pétursdóttir told Flugblogg. Two charter flights organized by Loftleiðir Icelandic for Pakistan International Airlines from Islamabad (ICAO: OPIS): to Manchester (ICAO: EGCC) on 7. April and London (ICAO: EGLL) on 8.April. It will be repatriation flights.

During the pandemic of COVID-19 Icelandair uses its Boeing 767 for non-scheduled flights. In 2020 these planes temporary were converted to freighters for delivering cargo from China to Iceland, Europe, and the US. In 2021 Boeing 767 of Icelandair performed a charter flight to Antarctica, delivering scientist of Norwegian Polar Institute.
